A group of local Welsh Pony and Cob enthusiasts who want to promote the breed and exhibit our ponies and cobs. Currently, we offer 3 pony shows per year and will be offering clinics to educate and build community.

WPCSW was built to fill a gap—the PNW, specifically Washington, was lacking in show offerings. So, naturally, Dierdre decided to not only take on building, planning, and managing a new show in the region (with a little help from her sister, Siobhan), but also in the dead of winter in December 2022. The first show was cold, wet, and fun. Lots of fun. From there, the kinks slowly worked themselves out and we continue to learn, and we have settled into 3 shows per show season. As we grow, we will be offering clinics and year end awards and partnering with other local clubs to spread awareness, education, and passion for the Welsh breed.

Thank you for being here, supporting us, and showing up. Without other crazy pony people, these shows cannot happen. We are grateful and feel lucky to be able to provide an all ages, welcoming show that, if nothing else, is loads of fun!
